Reyco Is Hiring — Here's What That Actually Means
We’re growing, and we’re looking for people to grow with us. This isn’t a post about how we’re a “family” or how you’ll have “unlimited growth potential.” It’s a straightforward description of who we’re looking for, what you’d be doing, and why we think Reyco is worth a look.
What We’re Hiring For
Field roles:
- Helper / Apprentice — No experience required. If you’re motivated and want to learn a trade with real career trajectory, this is where it starts. We run a structured apprenticeship through IHS Peak, fully paid by Reyco.
- Journeyman / Service Tech — Licensed electricians with commercial experience. We do a high volume of service work — restaurants, government buildings, multifamily — and we need techs who can run a job independently, communicate with clients, and work at pace.
Office roles:
- Project Manager — Someone who can manage scope, budget, and schedule across multiple concurrent commercial projects. You’ll be coordinating with field teams, clients, and subs.
- Estimator — Bidding commercial electrical work across our core markets. Familiarity with commercial construction documents and the DMV market is a strong plus.
- Account Manager — Building and maintaining client relationships, particularly on the facilities and property management side. This is a relationship-first role, not a cold-calling role.
What We Pay and What’s Included
Compensation is competitive and based on experience — we’re not going to post numbers here that don’t reflect the full picture. What we will tell you is what’s included beyond base pay:
- Health and dental insurance: 100% employer-paid. Not a contribution toward a premium — we cover it.
- 401(k) with 7% company contribution. We put the money in because we want our people building a future.
- Fully paid apprenticeship through IHS Peak for field staff pursuing their license. We pay for the program, and we schedule around it.
The Work
Reyco’s commercial portfolio is intentionally varied. In a given week, a field tech might be running service calls at restaurant groups, doing tenant improvements at a multifamily property, and finishing up electrical work at a government facility. If you want to do one thing repeatedly for years, that’s not us. If you want to build real breadth in commercial electrical, it is.
We use BuildOps for dispatch, scheduling, and invoicing — so field staff work with a tablet, not a call-in system that leaves you guessing about the next job. Office staff get clean job data and a dispatch system that actually functions.
The Culture, Without the Buzzwords
Dave runs the day-to-day. He knows everyone by name and is involved in the work — not managing from a distance. The team is small enough that what you do actually shows, and people are treated like the competent adults they are.
We’re not going to tell you it’s perfect. We’re a growing company, and growing companies have rough edges. What we can say is that the people who work here tend to stay, and the ones who leave usually aren’t leaving because of Reyco.
